1,500 yellow daffodils will greet visitors to Dorchester Park next spring. Provided by the Boston Parks Commission, they were planted by the Dorchester Park Association and Cedar Grove Gardens staff at the Adams Street and Dorchester Avenue entrances.

Thank you to the volunteers from Boston Cares and Northeastern University for their enthusiasm and hard work at Dorchester Park on Saturday, October 15th. They removed litter and trimmed undergrowth across from the playground in an area dotted with large rocks often used for reading, picnicking or playing. They also removed many pounds of broken glass from around the nearby large rocks which children love to climb.
